A Message from the Mayor

On behalf of City Council, I am pleased to support Burlington’s 9th Annual YouthFest and look forward to another fantastic event on Saturday, May 7th in Central Park!

YouthFest is a unique day in Burlington because it connects fun and excitement with leadership and community participation. Each year, YouthFest is strongly supported through the generosity of local businesses, community agencies, and of course Burlington’s youth and teens.

The youth of today are tomorrow's leaders and the experiences that help to shape them into young adults will guide their actions throughout their lives. City Council recognizes and celebrates the youth in Burlington that are doing great things to contribute to our city, whether it’s through their involvement in YouthFest or by giving back to the community in another way.

Thank you to all of the YouthFest volunteers and organizers. Your support is the reason YouthFest continues to be enjoyed by our community every May. The volunteers on the YouthFest Steering Committee, Youth Action Advisory Group and on-site event volunteers continue to ensure our youth are celebrated each year.

Burlington is home to many people with a passion for volunteerism. These same people support and mentor our youth as they grow into the future of our city and for that we should all be grateful.
