A Message from the Mayor

On behalf of City Council, we are pleased to recognize the 8th annual Burlington YouthFest.

YouthFest features an exciting range of activities and events highlighting the important roles of leadership and community participation. Supported through the generosity of local businesses, community and volunteer agencies, YouthFest promotes many volunteer opportunities for youth in social services, health, sport and recreation, and art and culture and includes participation from representatives of the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee.

A special thank you to all of the remarkable volunteers and organizers for their dedication to ensuring the success of this event. Our community is fortunate to have so many citizens of all ages, with such a personal commitment to volunteerism that supports and helps develop our youth in to community champions.

Our city appreciates that our amazing YouthFest generously donated $10,000 to the Burlington Community Foundation endowment fund last year to further support local youth service agencies.

Congratulations and best wishes,

Mayor, Cam Jackson
