YOUTHFEST was held on May 1st, 2010
At Burlington Central Park! What a success this year, thank you all for attending! The annual YouthFest Day promotes youth volunteerism in an afternoon full of entertainment - listen to the battle of the band winners and the headliner band, enjoy games, contests, food and of course "Community Village" with over 2,000 students! Come out and see what the fun and music is all about next year!
The presentation of a cheque for $21,500.00 to the Burlington's Community Foundation from the funding raised by YouthFest. This check was presented at our 7th Annual YouthFest Celebration Dinner held at Geraldo's.
With the support of our sponsors and volunteers we have been able to host a variety of activities that connect our young people to their community. Special thanks to all of you, who continue to make it successful this year and next.
YouthFest raised $6325.00 for the Carpenter Hospice in 2009!
Proceeds from the event go directly to supporting The Carpenter Hospice and its programs which are offered at no cost to residents and their families.
